As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle. T2 Biosystems uses Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as test-driven-development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), automated testing, and pair programming to deliver high-quality, robust software.
The Senior Engineer, Manufacturing uses expertise on a variety of complex manufacturing issues to increase the capabilities to produce products. Designs, improves and installs integrated systems in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment. Directly impacts all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation, as well as the sustaining and growth efforts of operations.
Technical leadership role on projects with high complexity, such as major cost initiatives, line extensions, and new package development; working closely with key business partners to develop fast prototypes/models, define package design and technical requirements, development project timelines, cost/margin goals, risks and contingency plans.
Designs and builds test fixtures to simulate field conditions for use in a test environment. This can and will include the development of necessary applications and programming of test fixtures as required.
The individual will team with a Quality Tool Engineer and together be responsible for making tooling decisions related to design, concept, and production to support aviation, ground, and maritime platforms.
