In this role, the selected candidate will oversee production departments across all three shifts; oversee the quality system and use LEAN tools to continually improve plant performance (5S, PFEP, Kanban, SMED, etc.).
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing capital projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes accruing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the engineering staff and activities among the production units in the plant, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and materials engineering.
In this role, the selected candidate will establish and maintain an effective maintenance training program designed to meet high standards and encourage personnel proficiency, as described in Chapter 10.
In this role, you will establish priorities for production schedules based on new product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. The selected candidate will monitor daily production to ensure production quotas are met and targeted deadlines are achieved.
The selected candidate will develop and design solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies. He / she will develop business plans and provide guidance and direction for the successful implementation of those plans.
