The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
As a Project Engineer on a project, initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFIs, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.
Provides for and ensures the timely, accurate and efficient administration and control of the spare parts (electrical) program-assures that all spares which are essential for the orderly and efficient operation of the plant are either inventoried on site or are readily available for delivery through equipment vendors in order to avoid unnecessary downtime waiting for spare parts.
This position is responsible for providing professional Electrical Engineering service and technical support to Maintenance and Operation departments for the re-design, modification, re-engineering and retrofitting of electrical equipment to improve quality and productivity.
