The Supervisor must be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively individually or in team setting with minimum supervision. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring resources, engagement status and deliverables and must have experience interacting with executive management.
Performs advanced/specialized tests and other related laboratory techniques. May duplicate work of others to confirm test results. Re-evaluates methodology, makes recommended changes and assists in test interpretation. Determines if further testing should be done on samples or if test should be repeated.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to execute the objectives of the Quality Assurance Department; promote consistency of quality standards across all shifts by providing leadership.

Overseeing the work of the department person is also responsible for quality control documentation, maintenance of standard operating procedures, and other duties as assigned. Ideal candidate will have prior experience as a technologist in the cytology department as well as prior indirect/direct supervisory experience.
