Develop electronic and electromechanical devices for engines and vehicles in the automotive market; design and develop electronic hardware, software, and firmware for automotive electronic devices; simulate, test, optimize, and verify designs through all phases of product development.
This position requires coordination with Sprint Network Development, Network Engineering, Device Management, Information Technology (IT), Operations, other System Verification groups, and Sprints vendor teams to define and support conformance test suites in the NFVI Lab.
As an Operations Engineer, you will be a member of the team responsible for fostering a DevOps culture throughout the organization. This includes ensuring product reliability, building environment automation, and enabling engineering best practices. As stewards of our infrastructure, Operations Engineers are tasked with managing and improving our application environments to ensure world class levels of availability and reliability for our customers.
Responsibilities may also include communication network design (LAN/WAN), data flow diagrams, serial point-to-point communications, and multi-drop networks, time synchronization design, device configurations, cyber security requirements and documentation.
Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles,materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop,integrate, document and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability,and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure they meet customer requirements while including product safety and regulatory compliance; be involved with and supportive of production and supplier issues.
Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles and act independently and as a member of a larger development team to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
