As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will assist in the implementation of vocational/education programs and activities established by registered Occupational Therapist designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance task performances, diminish or correct pathology, and to promote/maintain health and self-sufficiency.
In this role, the successful candidate will evaluate effects of therapy treatments by observing, noting and evaluating patient's progress; providing medically necessary treatment plan and modifications.
Therapists will use their skills to evaluate each patient, develop treatment plans, and work with the interdisciplinary team to enable patients to achieve their goals. The therapist in this position will scheduled as needed for patient care and COTA supervision in this SNF setting.
The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation. S/he directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
