This role will report to sales Director and lead account assignment business plan, which includes expanding account sell- in and growth strategy, sales promotion planning and execution, forecasting, and monthly business processes.
Managing the day to day activities associated with a fresh case ready category, including promotional activities, correcting out of stocks and distribution voids, tracking and reporting competitive activities, analyzing the category mix to plan and optimize the category performance.
Define and execute Customer Development Plans to optimize opportunities at their emerging growth customers including successful conclusion of bids and proposals, early identification of new opportunities, win strategies and relationship management.
Utilize planning tools (Gap analysis and various sales reports) to develop a sales plan for each customer; develop close working relationships with dealers, to grow sales, build loyalty through onsite visits and continuous interactions.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for determining the overall strategic direction, including the financial performance, of its assigned territory in meeting and/or exceeding its annual targets.
This position will help develop, direct, implement and communicate an account strategy for the Walmart account, The position will assist with current and long term sales growth plans and financial management (P&L) of the account along with the day-to-day interaction with the customer (external and internal), marketing, supply chain & replenishment, field sales, and customer service.
Provide account specific promotional plans, recommendations to Director of Corporate Accounts to ensure achievement of account growth goals and develop ongoing customer plans that are in alignment with corporate and customer goals.
Perform research (prospect) and client contact to identify and prioritize potential markets and customers. Determine client needs and evaluate company resources and capabilities in light of those needs.
Management or Relationship Management or equivalent experience. Experience working with a large national manufacturer / distributor in key supply chain topics like demand, inventory, distribution, and production is strongly preferred. An advanced degree or MBA is not required though a plus.
