The physical therapy assistant contracted or employed through the Agency provides home physical therapy services, with accompanying clinical documentation and follow-up, under the direction of the physical therapist and according to the physician's plan of care.
Assist in the implementation of vocational/education programs and activities established by registered Occupational Therapist designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance task performances, diminish or correct pathology, and to promote/maintain health and self-sufficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for plan and administer prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients suffering from various injuries, illnesses and functional disabilities to attain highest level of physical function.
Develop/implement a conditioning/rehabilitation program consistent with physicians Plan of Treatment and the overall goals of the patient/rehab team. Adjust treatment as needed to achieve maximum results.
