The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the engineering staff and activities among the production units in the plant, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and materials engineering.
This role will lead a team of industrial engineers to develop and improve manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, tooling, assembly methods, and quality control standards in an effort to improve productivity and reduce cost structure.
In this role, you will develop and drives mitigation strategies for any potential or actual shortfall situations and leads the remediation effort. Represents JCI to the customer in shortfall situations.
In this position, you will manage the Engineering Department supporting an electrical disconnect switch manufacturing site. Responsible for directing and leading Medium Voltage circuit protection development activities, product development budgets, providing support for applications, product ratings and standards issues. Additionally responsible for order and management of the engineering activities of the department, Assigns and tracks customer specific orders; responsible for clarification of project and product specific issues.
