The Workstation Specialist will be responsible for assisting PennDOT staff by supporting hardware and software installation and troubleshooting services. Candidate must possess the ability to install and configure PC hardware, peripherals, and software in both a network and stand-alone environment is required.
This position is primarily responsible for fulfilling all Relationship Manager responsibilities regarding loans to Regency Finance, Bank Capital Services and F.N.B. Corporation and prepares analysis regarding a variety of other Credit Support monitoring duties.
The incumbent will focus on the technical and functional view of production applications with an emphasis on the impact, implications and functional / technical benefits of enhancements as well as the design, implementation and customization of the production system. The incumbent will design, implement and track solutions to assure complete problem resolution.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining device compliance and health; this includes tracking down PCs that have broken SCCM clients, are out of compliance with updates, or are reported to have application or operating system issues.
In this role, you will perform routine preventive maintenance and identify common hardware problems. The selected candidate will upgrade or replace faulty hardware components, such as hard drives, network cards, optical drives, printers, and monitors.
Experience in the creation and support of SharePoint sites, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products to include Microsoft Exchange, technical desktop (Windows and Mac) and mobile device (iOS and Android) expertise, and ability to clearly and accurately document technical solutions. Excellent technical troubleshooting skills are a must.
