In this role, the successful candidate will manage global market data vendor relationships, including negotiations of agreements and firm wide vendor oversight with a focus on driving value through active expense management and improved contractual terms, including contract edits.
The Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement, Media & Advertising plays an integral role in the corporate sourcing strategy and philosophy. This position will collaborate with the Global Marketing Excellence team in instilling a holistic, business-based sourcing perspective and mindset in all external spend areas within Hershey by sharing the sourcing approach to spend analysis, strategy development and strategy execution, best practices, negotiation, analysis of macro- and micro-economics etc.
In this role, you will act as liaison between the sourcing activity and the Legal Department on legal and commercial issues with regard to subcontracts with suppliers. The selected candidate also will support and assist the General Manager as needed.
