The Engineering/Mfg. Support Manager has overall responsibility to lead the site Engineering team effort to ensure a safe and productive work environment with primary focus on supporting production to meet monthly build plans and annual cost savings targets and product quality improvements.
This manager will report to the Directorship of the Digital Engineering program and will be expected to provide regular updates on progress at a minimum and work independently to develop and implement process improvements to BU situated throughout the global TE footprint.
In this role, the selected candidate will plan and execute capital improvement projects for expansion and/or upgrade of aluminum extrusion and rolling mill facilities. Develop project scope, feasibility, cost estimates and schedule.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of new technical cooperative research projects and government funded projects resulting in revenue for the Ground Vehicle Standards Business Unit including review of work products, budgeting, financial projections and management of outside experts.
