The Financial Analyst/Accountant plans and carries out duties related to accounting/financial procedures. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare reports to meet internal/external reporting requirements.

statements, conducts financial studies and coordinates financial projects; work with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

The accountant role is responsible for processing expense reports through concur system insuring compliance with company travel polices; managing the corporate travel card system insuring expenses are paid timely; insuring appropriate credit levels are maintained; issuing new cards and terminating expired cards. The individual is also responsible for maintaining P-card system to issue new cards; maintaining mcc codes; establishing and maintaining proper credit limits.
In this role, the selected candidate will control financial, contractual, and cost administration for numerous government projects; must have experience in project accounting, FAR, GAAP, DCAA compliance, and indirect cost calculations.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the complete month-end and year-end financial close process, the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financials for internal and external customers, assistance with AP and AR duties as assigned, and assistance with the yearly audit.
This candidate is responsible for coordinating efforts of internal process owners and subject matter expertise. He/she will develop contingency plans to eliminate obstacles to on-time and on-budget completion of the project.
