In this role, the selected candidate will monitor contractions and helps patient with breathing techniques; administers pain medication as ordered; administers other meds to address specific medical conditions,such as hypertension and diabetes.
The Registered Nurse Behavioral Health Intake Specialist conducts patient intake screenings and ensures accurate placement according to medical criteria and assesses potential funding sources and coordinates insurance authorizations.
The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care and patient teaching provided throughout the hospital. The RN is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.
