The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
Develops, maintains and upgrades Manual or Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans; perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Provide oversight of Q&R Manufacturing NPI projects ensuring timely completion of project deliverables, correcting issues delaying completion and reporting on quality system status of projects on manufacturing department or site level.
Under direct supervision, verifies that software changes submitted by developers function as documented and without errors. Participate on quality projects and processes within department/team. Documents issues found during testing and follow issues through to resolution.
Interface with ASL suppliers, engineering, operations, manufacturing, service / repair to implement effective supplier quality corrective actions ( SCARs ) and quality improvements minimizing cost of quality events.
