Drive sales by identifying and acting upon opportunities in the community, institutional sales, and bookfairs, thereby establishing a community relations network and tailoring your merchandise selection to local customers.

Manage staffing initiatives to meet model scheduling needs and weekend hours execution; maintain proper staffing levels to meet stores needs with planning for calculated turnover; ensures Associate Availability is up-to-date.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for overall store operation, sales performance and management of store personnel; greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and ensure customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved.
Provides guidance and direction to the store team in the areas of guest satisfaction, team/associate development, merchandising, inventory, cash control, human resources, safety, loss prevention and expense control, so that the store will operate effectively and profitably.
Manage all daily activities in a specific area of the store (S&R, Footwear, Apparel, etc.), including selling and service, selecting and developing associates, merchandising and time and business management.
