In this position, you will work with, lead and mentor mechanics, electricians, and control technicians, and work with the training manager and department manager in designing and providing manufacturing support and technical skills to all personnel sufficient to meet the needs of the technically advanced manufacturing operations.
The successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses specific to their specialty area online and/or in a traditional classroom setting, participate in service related activities, develop an externally funded research program in the applicable engineering field of expertise, advise graduate and undergraduate students, and publish research results in professional journals.
The qualified candidates will enjoy working with clients in the oil and natural gas industry on a wide variety of projects involving refined petroleum products, crude oil and natural gas pipelines and related facilities.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to project plan, co-ordinate and carry to completion database initiatives, with solid interpersonal organizational and people communication skills, as well as solid writing and oral communication skills.
In this role, the selected candidate will investigate and analyze electrical problems, defines and scopes projects, makes engineering drawings or layouts, writes engineering reports, makes cost estimates, obtains bids, writes work orders, makes recommendations to management, obtains approval to purchase necessary equipment and materials, and works with Maintenance and Operations personnel to retro-fit and install.
In this role, the successful candidate will process documentation defines the sequence in which to perform process steps, along with the specifications for the process that are important to follow to ensure a quality and consistent output is produced.
This position is for a hands-on experienced RF/MMIC engineer with solid state design of power amplifiers and TRMs for active array applications. The primary role is the analyses of RF amplifier architectures, simulations linear and saturated FET designs, evaluates technologies (GaN, GaAs, HBT, etc), trade studies, and requirements development within SWaP constrained systems.
