Maintain and ensure all equipment, vehicles, and machinery is operating properly and safely, arrange for repairs and/or replacements as necessary; determine field personnel for each project and assigns work based on the requirements of the project.
Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions. This includes project safety, scheduling, engineering, material control and may provide day to day direction of onsite administration staff and engineers.
The Superintendent will schedule all earthwork, roadwork, or other self-performed work and coordinate field crews through directives given to foremen as well as plan and schedule all requirements to control labor, equipment and material costs.
Participate with the project manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities and their sequence, the organization structure, staff selection, and the manpower and construction equipment requirements of the project.
The Core Department Superintendent will oversee core making operations, core box design & layout, as well as core resin testing. The Core Department Superintendent will also be responsible for coldbos core systems, and no-bake core systems.
