In this role, the selected candidate will provide day-to-day consultation and guidance to agency executives and local office staff regarding human resources functions/issues (e.g. employee relations, family medical leave, disability and workers compensation, performance management, policy and procedures).
In this role, the selected candidate will communicate and partner with management/supervisors to resolve employee issues; respond to employee issues and maintain accurate notes, logs and records; respond to unemployment claims.
The HR Generalist provides consultation and/or facilitation in the development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of human resources functions (e.g. FMLA, STD/LTD/WC, Training, New Employee Orientation, policy review and development) for assigned state agency.
