This is a full-performance level accountant who has duties and responsibilities requiring the application of generally accepted accounting principles and knowledge in the analysis, review and interpretation of financial data, as well as the preparation and presentation of financial statements and other documents in such a way as to assist management with decision making.
The Staff Accountant serves as a trusted advisor to the Controller and acts as a key liaison among executive management, providing high-level support on both internal and external strategic priorities. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
The Staff Accountant / Fee Analyst will be responsible for exchange fee and balance sheet reconciliations, regulatory reporting, journal voucher posting, account and expense analysis, financial analysis and various projects, accounts payable, cash entries, give up and give in reconciliation, assist in brokerage and exchange fee audit.
The Staff Accountant position is a key member of our general ledger (G/L) and tax teams. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, the Staff Accountant will work with many other teams at CCC including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounts Payable, Sales Operations, and our external auditors.
