The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing industry expertise technical support and presenting technical solutions to the sales and business solution teams that result in retaining and increasing revenue and clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation and selection stages of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services.
The Senior Sales Engineer must have proven SE experience in the software space, with a preference for database experience. The ideal candidate must have strong presentation skills, familiarity with developing POCs and excellent writing skills.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to sales engineering management; create and deliver technical product presentations and/or training sessions to channel partners and customers.
In this role, you will identify target requirements by building personal rapport with potential customers; you deliver presentations, demonstrations and proofs-of-concept for products, services and solutions to potential customers.
In this role, you will require a very technically astute person who can understand customer needs / requirements and be viewed as a trusted advisor to help customers and prospects utilize the Vormetric solution.
The Senior Sales Engineer will play a critical role in establishing credibility and confidence with company prospective clients, by demonstrating and proving company value through its products, services, and thought leadership.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering technical product demonstrations, presentations, and network designs and support; delivering product training and skills transfer to channel partners, integrators and users.
