As a Manufacturing Controller, you will partner with site management teams to track operating costs, perform standard cost revisions, maintain accuracy of expenditures, and contribute to P&L and balance sheet preparation.
Perform periodic walkthroughs of the Plant with the Director of Operations to discuss production and costing issues.Review labor reporting and cost, materials, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze and evaluate the economical aspects of the operational activities related to process and conversion costs, specifically salary and hourly manning levels, MDC related costs, gain sharing programs, service contracts, utility price increases, health care programs and capital investment proposals to improve the overall profitability of the plant.
Responsible for preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, performance to actual analysis and daily operating updates; Responsible for compliance with all internal control procedures and SOX requirements.
The primary responsibility of the Controller is to provide financial management and leadership to increase the value of the company and maintain, through continuous improvement initiatives, a financial function which provides a competitive advantage.
In this role, you will manage individually and through their team all accounting procedures related to operations (e.g. G/L maintenance, accruals, expense charge-off, journal entry preparation, payroll processing, capital equipment authorization, asset management and inventory control including inventory reconciliations).
In this role, the selected candidate will provide solutions across a wide variety of industries, companies, and functional disciplines. On a daily basis, you will work directly with accounting, finance and operating executives at the clients we serve.
