In this role, the selected candidate will plan and execute capital improvement projects for expansion and/or upgrade of aluminum extrusion and rolling mill facilities; develop project scope, feasibility, cost estimates and schedule.
The ideal candidate or the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will have steel/metals or fasteners background (but flexible for the right candidate) Strong project management, Process, Continuous Improvement, leadership and capital equipment experience required.
The position entails business development and marketing efforts, supporting and scheduling of staff, handling day-to-day operations and other responsibilities related to managing a Mechanical Engineering Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for organizing the Manufacturing Engineering function (ME). Plans, directs, coordinates and improves manufacturing processes for optimal and efficient production operation and use of company assets.
The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Engineering department. They will manage and oversee all current program activities for the plant as well as any upcoming launches.
