This position interacts with colleagues in a team setting and upholds the image of the Firm by maintaining positive contact with clients, attorneys and staff, and observing confidentiality of client matters.
The candidate should be proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), iManage document management system, eDockets calendaring program, as well as strong knowledge of eFiling, State and Federal court rules. Additional duties include motion filing procedures, including efiling in federal and state courts.
The right candidate will have a passion for defending employee benefit litigation matters, strong analytical and writing skills, and will add their enthusiasm to our affable, team-oriented environment.
Prepare exhibit packages, including: reviewing internal databases and client sites, requesting needed documents to include as exhibits; review documents extensively and redact all non-public information.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm setting along with extensive experience drafting pleadings, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, and appearing before state and federal courts.
