Plans, organizes and manages warehouse relocation, expansion, start-up, and improvement programs. Analyzes material handling process and determines methods, procedures and equipment for increasing productivity and efficiency.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing complex designs in conformance with Ingersoll design standards and customer or marketing specifications. Responsibilities include participation in the development of engineering standards, design specifications for marketing.
The Industrial Engineer will develop and implement operation process improvement initiatives. He/she will be responsible for seeking out continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities, developing cost/benefit analysis for new processes and projects, and for delivering bottom-line results.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
Develops conceptual designs into effective product or packaging designs using good engineering principles to resolve conflicting design requirements, suitability of materials and difficult coordination requirements.
Identify, plan and realize potentials for efficiency improvements in coordination with the production counterparts. Coordinate use of lean and Continental Business Systems methods by training the Industrials Engineers and steering the use.
This position requires you to leverage your training and experience to develop best practices and engineered standards, improve processes and layout, develop labor productivity and staffing tools, and support technology initiatives for new and existing business.
