Serve as primary customer contact related to laser operations, including but not limited to, negotiating outcomes with dissatisfied customers; manage schedule and regularly follow up with customers in territory to ensure customer is optimizing the use of the laser(s).
Manage the System Assessment process. This includes the onsite interviews, RMM tool configuration and deployment on the client network, physical review and documentation of the IT assets. Once the field work is done the Engineer then must analyze the data collected and produce a detailed technical document that outlines the client network with our technical recommendations.
Conduct technical presentations for individuals, groups and professional associations involved in new construction and/or the repair and rehabilitation of existing structures, focusing on both general technical knowledge as well as the advantages and use of Simpson products.
As a field service engineer, you will work at a variety of labs, so having a solid understanding of companys portfolio, and continuously learning about new instruments, software, and consumables, is key.
Provide technical consultative assistance to the account manager during the sales process to accurately assess potential customers needs and determine the appropriate solution from products and services.
Perform incoming inspection, equipment repair, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance of specialized medical imaging equipment including but not limited to CT, PET/CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine cameras, PACS, Vascular/Cath labs, and linear accelerators/radiation treatment planning.
