Develop and grow both existing and new business in order to meet company goals and expectations for ground expedite and air charter and develop and maintain a strong carrier portfolio according to the carrier selection criteria.
The Account Director is responsible for driving all matters surrounding Account, including fostering an environment of creative growth, delivering insight & strategy that brings forth successful solutions for our clients, and providing dynamic leadership to keeps our teams on the forefront of todays rapidly changing market.
Lead, and be ultimately responsible for the execution of business development, ongoing business expansion (i.e. cross-sell and up-sell), and successful handoff of newly developed or expanded business to appropriate implementation personnel in such a fashion as to achieve corporate targets of market penetration, revenue and margin metrics, client satisfaction, product and client diversification, and ongoing compliance with regulatory, quality, accreditation, delegation, and contractual requirements of Company products and services.
In this role, the selected candidate will present the Company's products through on-line and/or on-site demonstrations and have the knowledge to answer questions about the demonstrated product and support services.
The person is also responsible for leading a cross functional team concerning all activities related to acquiring customers and new business partners to drive profitable growth, cultivate ongoing relationships, strengthen our position for future business opportunities and ensure successful operationalization of the strategic plan.
