In this role, the selected candidate will be
responsible for supporting project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure project milestones are tracked and completed on time.
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies while providing production engineering support services directly to manufacturing.
Designs are verified against requirements using both directed test and constrained random methodologies and are supported from requirements definition through integration and test, and eventually production.
Support the full lifecycle of systems development for avionics products including concept design, system architecture, definition and management of requirements, modeling and simulation, managing suppliers, managing cost and schedule, System Integration Laboratory (SIL) integration, aircraft integration, verification, and flight testing.
The Engineer will develop new missile CAD models and maintain or update existing missile CAD models. The Engineer will coordinate and communicate with model users and respond to requests for information such as dimensions, mass properties, what-if scenarios, etc.
The software engineer in this role works on-site with the customer and our experienced development team on projects developing software and tools to archive and retrieve data and to produce technical documentation from a variety of sources including databases and simulation output.
An Electrical Design Engineer is expected to support a products electrical design activity from requirements definition through initial production. At the Staff level, the employee is expected to perform these duties independently in one or more complex technical areas with little or no supervision and be able to adapt skills to new technologies and new technical areas.
