Support interfacing organizational disciplines such as mechanical, software, test, customer support, and product management; prepare source, binary, and documentation files for use in a manufacturing environment.
The contractor shall provide expertise in electronics design and fabrication of motor controller boards. In support of the Lander project, the candidate shall provide engineering and technical skills with the broad range of expertise that include hardware design, system integration, testing, and documentation.
The successful candidate will become part of a multi-contractor team working with several different government organizations within AMRDEC and will need to be comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic design environment.
Preparation of engineering studies and reports. Preparation of material quantity estimates for test and/or design projects. Uses engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD/CAE) tools. System troubleshooting and return-to-service.
Responsible for the full engineering lifecycle including deriving system-level requirements from architectural guidelines and project objectives and developing detailed designs with supporting implementation.
The Electrical Designer performs technical activities on assigned projects under supervision of a licensed professional engineer, including participation in technical studies, investigations and designs on assigned projects.
The candidate will utilize this capability within the guidelines of the product safety process in support of product design, development, and validation of embedded Single Board Computers (SBC), EthernetSwitches, I/O, Sensor Processing cards and systems.
Provide first and second level technical and management support to the customer for the managed or hosted systems, provide engineering services for data integration and software configuration for power monitoring systems.
