In this role, the selected candidate will interface with engineering representatives and customers to define programming requirements; customize, configure and program a control systems using structured text.
Attend events, job sites, and meet closely with: Owners, clients, architects, and other disciplines; research and review best Electrical Design layouts and codes with licensed professional Electrical Engineer.
The individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and utilization of firmware and hardware to interface with the weapon subsystems in a way that provides an operationally relevant stimulus to allow for weapon software development integration.
Designs are verified against requirements using both directed test and constrained random methodologies and are supported from requirements definition through integration and test, and eventually production.
Provide engineering and analysis support to the Counter Unmanned Aircraft System(C-UAS) project managed by the Counter-Rocket Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM) program office. Support the design, integration and test of the Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) with C-RAM Command and Control (C2) and new sensors to enable accurate track of threats, weapons and provide clearance of fires for complex engagement scenarios.
Provide support to the buildings, roads and grounds, equipment and utility systems of Redstone Arsenal operations, maintenance, repair and construction activities involving requirements for electrical engineering expertise.
Responsible for electrical engineering activities in the area of electrical system and device modeling and analysis. Develop system-level and/or physics-based models of components and devices in support of new technology development, project engineering, and test & evaluation.
Establishes gage calibration procedures. Recalls gages for calibration at a predetermined time period, includes coordination with outside laboratories if required. Assures that gages re calibrated, identified and gage records are updated and placed on file.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
