Assess each patient, develop a plan of care, safely implement and modify plans as necessary in accordance with American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, American Physical Therapy Association's Guide to Physical Therapists Practice and Texas Practice Act.
Evaluates and treats residents and patients with conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling to improve their ability to perform tasks of daily living and working environments in compliance with federal guidelines and state practice acts.

The Music Therapist will deliver services to adult patients being treated in the Houston Methodist Hospital System. The Therapist will deliver services through both group and individual sessions, treating patients individually as well as co-treating with physical, occupational, speech therapists, social workers and other clinical team members.
