In this role, you will provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee and provide primary care, including all clinical care, palliative care, and symptom control and identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
In this role, you will prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including any case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Prepare visit/shift reports, updates/summarizes patient records, and confers with other health care disciplines in providing optimum patient care.
In this role, you will assume responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided whe she / he is on duty; responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating a systematic process that ensures there is sufficient information available to confirm the current competency of practitioners initially granted privileges and to identify and address any potential problems with a practitioners performance or trends that impact quality of care and patient safety in an ongoing and timely manner.
