The Sales Director (SD) manages and supports functions essential to sales force productivity. These include recruiting, training, developing, planning, and grassroots marketing to meet all sales goals and KPIs.
Develop an account plan for each strategic account, then own the execution of set plan to drive revenue goals and business objectives. Leverage sales techniques and approaches to deliver capability presentations, structure contract terms, etc.
Managing the Major Design Wins (MDW), to include preparing and maintaining a MDW Action Plan for each account. Plans to be presented at quarterly sales meetings. All visits to MDWs need to be reported on a trip report to the VP of Sales.
Make sales presentations to SMB and enterprise-level customers on how Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi solutions can address their business needs; communicate customer business requirements to engineering and implementation teams.
