The Project Engineer will support the Orion Environmental Controls and Life Support (ECLS) lead systems engineer and delegates in the compilation and applicability analysis of vehicle requirements flow down to the ECLS subsystem.
The Product Engineer has complete responsibility within the legacy products, working as a PDM, CSM and RPE. Requires responding to daily technical issues from Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Manufacturing, Services and clients.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with network infrastructure/service providers to identify and correct causes of circuit disruption; plan, schedule, and implement network maintenance activities.
Lead a small team of support engineers or application. Independently implements end user or enterprise infrastructure / application or services of moderate complexity as prepared by more senior technologist in support of more complex solutions.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing engineering level tasks on a number of projects that need to be completed related to new product design, comparison of competing designs between client products and their competitors, design activities including existing drawing ECN/compliance supplier development and CAD using CATIA V5 and other client specific tools and software.
Liaise with business line and manufacturing function on product sourcing and quality issues including evaluation of alternative raw materials and evaluation of impact on product performance of changes in process conditions
This position will work on the JETS Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Capture (RPOC) team developing Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) models/simulations and ISS crew monitoring system testbeds for Commercial Visiting Vehicle missions to the International Space Station (ISS).
