This position performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of equipment, systems, or processes. Specifications are prepared, and necessary subcontracts and requisitions are defined.
Work closely with the Plant Engineer to identify equipment performance issues; work closely with the Manufacturing Engineer in identifying opportunities for new or upgraded equipment, and developing operating standards for new or upgraded equipment.
Plan and strategize the automation approach to scripting and development of new tools to for new functionality and customer demands; play an integral part in developing an automated Regression suite/tool.
Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and quality is acceptable. Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs arise.

The Project Engineer will support the Orion Environmental Controls and Life Support (ECLS) lead systems engineer and delegates in the compilation and applicability analysis of vehicle requirements flow down to the ECLS subsystem.
Provide Process Control and Instrumentation expertise related technical and engineering support in the areas of Refining, Petrochemical, Gas Processing and Environmental processes working closely with proponent organizations of Engineering Services, Downstream, and Gas Operations.
