The Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for assessing patients, admitting patients into the hospital, and providing them with the appropriate care, as needed. The Family Medicine Physician will also oversee Physician Assistants (PAs) within the facility who are also admitting patients.
In this role, you will coordinates appropriate, timely patient care under physician supervision, for a defined patient population(s), focusing on identified expected unit/optimal outcomes individualized to the patient.
In this role, the selected candidate will
demonstrate support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by being knowledgeable of compliance responsibilities as expressed in the Code of Conduct; adhering to federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures policies that affect his/her specific job functions/responsibilities; and reporting compliance issues/concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.

In this role, the selected candidate functions as a primary care provider maintaining and promoting the health of the patient requiring acute care. Affects direct patient care according to the Board of Physician Assistant Examiners in the State of Texas and The Methodist Hospitals policies and procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for the Physician Assistant rolemaintains effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; providespatient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner; and keepsabreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specificareas of clinical practice.
In this position, you will provide coordination and direction to other physician assistants and nurse practitioners on staff by serving as a mentor; collaborates in the preparation of annual evaluations with supporting physicians and management personnel to ensure all paperwork is in compliance with all HR policies and guidelines
