The Civil Engineering Manager acts on behalf of the Engineering Department to ensure that the Civil Engineering group provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for the construction of wind energy facilities.
Manage the implementation of capital projects, including concept development, basic engineering, process optimization, technical and economic evaluation of alternatives, scope definition and control, estimating, cost control, scheduling, compliance, detailed engineering and design and safety.
Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
Identify opportunities for improvement in production and productivity, driving solutions and implementation of process modifications to enhance quality, improve profitability and increase customer satisfaction.
Shall lead Non-Destructive Testing for Oil & Gas Pipelines, oversee field technicians, build new business opportunities through client prospecting and lead generation and train technicians on inspection and examination techniques.
Develops close working relationships with strategic customers, utility providors and contractors. Identifies appropriate internal controls for process; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
This role will be responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement methodology to lead the design of complex Supply Chain Solutions for current and future operations. Responsible for the Management of other engineers. Provides regular and proactive communications to customers and leadership team.
