Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress of construction, review status of work completed during the period covered, review that work is generally proceeding in a good and workmanlike manner and in general accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project. Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics.
Senior Project Manager will act as the liaison between Flintco, the owner representatives, major subcontractors, architects and engineers, and provides valuable input based on his/her construction expertise to benefit the project.
Oversee projects through to project close out; development and adherence to pre-construction schedules and construction milestones, accurate and timely tracking of submittals, RFI's and other critical project documentation, weekly and monthly reporting to the owner.
Direct the execution of all aspects of projects, including: pre-bid meetings and proposal preparation, project start-up, contract and change order management, project controls, materials buy-out, subcontractor management and cash flow management.
Research existing conditions, building requirements and construction/equipment costs, to determine scope of work and budget that will be submitted to senior management for approval Assist in short and long term capital and maintenance forecasting for operating companies.
