Ensures department employees are kept informed of changes to unit policies, procedures, patient care standards, and are trained in use of new equipment, supplies and/or instruments.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist simulation director assure operability of high fidelity simulation technology through; use of troubleshooting skills, consultation with vendor technology support divisions, accessing operating manuals, and acquiring advanced skills and training when indicated.
The Clinical Educator is responsible for assessing, planning and evaluating the educational activities for the assigned service and participate in meeting the educational needs for patient care service in order to provide educational support to staff.
In this role you will partner externally as well as internally within a matrixed organization. Demonstrated ability to present and engage healthcare providers and or patients and their families in meaningful clinical discussions.
