Perform advanced professional tax and accounting work in the management of multi-state employer registration, reporting and compliance. Maintain university compliance with state and federal tax rules and regulations; hold primary responsibility for all university tax activities, including monitoring of all local, state and federal regulations, along with the timely filing of all related tax documents and returns.
Supports the Fixed Asset department; prepares audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assists auditors in their inquiries; ensure that all monthly SOX support is maintained and readily available for Internal Controls; other duties as assigned.
