Provides managerial oversight to a construction project or a series of construction projects. Responsible for the overall direction, administration, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project.
At this level; the position is typically responsible for managing multiple projects and tasks and supervising more than 25 employees both exempt and non-exempt and including two or more subordinate supervisors and managers.
In this role, you will provide operational and strategic leadership to all personnel assigned to projects; ensure effective integration of organizational strategy, people, technology, and business processes.
Practical understanding and skill in the application of administrative rules, regulations, and procedures associated with recording, reporting, processing, and keeping track of budgetary transactions, etc.
Develop and utilize project plans and schedules to manage and report against customer requirement. These plans may address items such as Requirements analysis and tracking, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Project Staffing, etc.
Responsible for all phases (planning, scheduling and managing) of the design and construction process for a construction or refurbishment project generally in the range of $25 million to $50 million in cumulative budget responsibility.
The Sr. Project manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
