Provides managerial oversight to a construction project or a series of construction projects. Responsible for the overall direction, administration, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project.
Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.

Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Develop and utilize project plans and schedules to manage and report against customer requirement. These plans may address items such as Requirements analysis and tracking, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Project Staffing, etc.
Provide insight into project health by defining appropriate metrics to measure project performance, comparing actual performance to planned performance on an ongoing basis, identifying root causes of situations that could negatively impact project performance, and preparing and delivering executive-level briefings when needed.
Responsible for all phases (planning, scheduling and managing) of the design and construction process for a construction or refurbishment project generally in the range of $25 million to $50 million in cumulative budget responsibility.
Practical understanding and skill in the application of administrative rules, regulations, and procedures associated with recording, reporting, processing, and keeping track of budgetary transactions, etc.
At this level; the position is typically responsible for managing multiple projects and tasks and supervising more than 25 employees both exempt and non-exempt and including two or more subordinate supervisors and managers.
