The position plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally, through subordinates, or through influence with line managers. This position is also responsible for aligning the business goals with the people strategy of the organization.
Counsels, orientates, and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees.
In this role, you will manage the HR functions for the 100-person nonunion Alabama manufacturing facility including developing, implementing and coordinating policies and programs dealing with employment interviewing and recruiting, wage and salary administration, benefits administration, training and development, employee relations, safety and health administration and plant security.
