In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for designing, planning and implementing plant human resources programs; ensuring compliance on legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
In this role, you must have general knowledge of the field of human resources including employment law, FMLA, ADA, and code of ethics. Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
The HRM is responsible for developing the human capital necessary to support the achievement of the financial, compliance, and strategic goals of their respective store location, positively contributing to the long-term success of the market, region, and company.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with company HR Service Center on HR activity in the region, elevated investigations, and identifying trends. Reviews various reports such as turnover analysis, training compliance, performance appraisals, and other HR programs.
The HRM also anticipates and addresses talent needs through strategic recruiting, staffing, and training. An individual in this position must also motivate and retain existing talent by anticipating and responding to human resource issues as they arise. The HRM is additionally responsible for developing the leadership skills of Department Managers and Assistant Store Managers and actively coaching the entire store management team.
The selected candidate will plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
