This role provides management oversight for all phases of the construction project assigned including coordinating workers, material, and equipment; ensuring that plans and specifications are being followed; work is proceeding on schedule and within budget; and all work is being conducted in a safe and professional manner.
The incumbent is responsible for conducting on-site investigations of all Subway derailments, collisions, fatalities, and unusual occurrences, and near miss criteria incidents on a 24-hour, 7 days per week basis.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc; document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
In this role, the selected candidate will obtain and analyze subcontractor bids through to scheduling coordination as it relates to project timeline; maintain operating plans and financial reporting of capital improvement projects group to Team Leads.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and maintain strong relationships with all parties involved on the project: owner, architects, subs; develop and implement schedules and site logistic plans with Project Manager.
