In this role, the selected candidate will maintain ServiceNow solutions (e.g. business rules, screen tailoring, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, service catalog development, LDAP integration, custom scripting, and third party software integrations).
Monitor Linux-based servers for hardware and software failures, then resolving those failures; assist with day-to-day maintenance of servers, including performing backups, software installations, and upgrades.
Responsible for establishing and managing to quality control and security protocols relative to database security; provides the division, department and business area management with timely and accurate information regarding the status and performance of the assigned project(s).
Manage and respond to System Administration requests in order of receipt and priority, using system knowledge of LMS, independent troubleshooting experience, knowledge of the GMP training process and connecting processes such as the document management process.
Troubleshoot database problems in both production and non-production environments; lead RCA process and ensure all fixes are fully implemented, collaborate across infrastructure teams to determine RCA.
Candidate will work with business analysts, project managers, and senior staff members to evaluate and propose solutions to problems, and will work as a part of the development team implementing these solutions within our existing architecture. Candidate will be called upon to create well-documented processes and procedures, design specifications and templates according to approved guidelines. Have to work on security vulnerabilities and reporting on the servers and application and make sure we are compliant as per Industry standards.
