The senior underwriter will underwrite the most complex transactions with little or no guidance from immediate manager and serve as back-up for immediate manager and mentor for more junior underwriters and credit analysts.
In this role, you will evaluate new and renewal policy applications and related documents to classify and assess each risk, determine acceptability, assign rating, indicate endorsements and limits, and determine appropriate pricing.
In this role, you will create, drives and executes on strategies for new and/or renewal accounts (prospective book management, executes on the mix strategy, low strategy, territorial and agency sales plans, etc.)
As a Sr. Field Underwriter, you will be focused on developing a profitable book of Primary Casualty business by building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to source high quality submissions, determine/prioritize submissions to be underwritten.
Senior Underwriter will be responsible for servicing the renewal book, producing new business, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of professional liability including Architects & Engineers, Cyber Liability.
