Responsibilities of the Test Engineer will be test process development, process automation, and technical management and support for both internal and external test operations. Will establish Design for Testability practices, as well as define and realize manufacturing test strategy and implementation.
Perform instrumentation planning and test conduct of all Environmental Tests including vibration, mechanical shock, temperature, altitude, humidity and structural testing Dynamic and thermal data acquisition and analysis.
This role requires an excellent understanding of QA tool development and various automation frameworks and technical expertise in UNIX/Linux operating systems, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and caching technologies, web servers, and distributed systems.
Responsibilities include supporting test and troubleshooting of RF (high power and low power), IF, Microwave, digital and analog assemblies.This role provides engineering expertise to internal customers for system and sub-system testing.
Understand the software/system being tested, create test plans from requirements/design documentation, execute test procedures, perform both manual and automated test of software, report and verify defects, define and collect test metrics.
The incumbent will gather all necessary requirements regardless of complexity, and draft a detailed plan of action to assist in the efficient transfer of the software through the different testing environments.
