Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
In this role you will focus on the analysis and reverse engineering of mobile device software, embedded system software, malware samples, or other related technologies to understand their underlying structures, features, and capabilities.
The candidate will apply their experience and knowledge to lead Physical Security Engineering projects in the areas of access control, closed circuit video, intrusion detection, intercom, media display, radio communication systems, and LAN/WAN networks, to the application, design and implementation of security systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing both hardware and firmware solutions to protect our products from intrusion. They should also possess the ability to architect, develop, and integrate new solutions in an ever changing environment.
Responsible for evaluating, testing, recommending, developing, coordinating, monitoring and maintaining information security for operating systems, user authentication, and applications; implementing strategic security architecture.
Participate in research, development, application, and transition of innovative technology solutions to the UTC business units, including of Pratt and Whitney, UTC Aerospace Systems, Climate, Controls, and Security, and Otis.
In this role, the selected candidate must have exposure to multiple security engineering disciplines including application security, secure software development, cryptography, network security, system security, and security policy.
