The IT Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates IT activities and resources to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prearranged time frames and budgets. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and/or managing small- to medium-sized project teams that develop and carry out internal IT projects for assigned areas.
In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with key stakeholders, including senior level executive sponsors, program and portfolio directors, controllers, partners and vendors to define project scope and achieve overall business and IT objectives by directing and leading one or more project teams (often spanning multiple functional or organizations areas) and ensure timely delivery of all project components.
The Sr. Project Manager, Messaging and Collaboration will be accountable for managing Client installation projects for NaviSite. Client installation projects range from 12 30+ weeks and are performed by a matrix team of 4-20 technical engineering resources across multiple engineering teams.
In this role, the selected candidate will take on numerous projects related to consolidating 5 data centers & IT organizations into 1; must have a consolidation experience from a data and infrastructure perspective.
